Modification of ERGA SMVI-L magnetic roll separator for studying applicability of technological processes for dry concentration of bulk ores and nonmetallic materials and conducting scientific research in laboratories of companies, universities.

  • Highly efficient NdFeB magnetic system with intensity up to 1 700 mТ (17 000 Gauss)

Unique patented magnetic system provides increased magnetic intensity on the operating surface up to 1.7 T (17000 G) without power consumption for magnetic field generation, unlike electromagnetic analogs. Increased magnetic intensity on the roll surface ensures recovery of materials with weakly magnetic susceptibility.

  • Automatic cleaning

Efficient cleaning of raw materials from paramagnetic and fine ferromagnetic impurities is automatic with minimum personnel involvement into the process. Continuous removal of magnetic inclusions in automatic mode improves separation quality.

  • Customized selection of equipment

SMVI-L laboratory magnetic separator is optimized for application in different operating modes: continuous or periodic. Operating length of magnetic roll can vary from 100 to 800 mm with diameter either 110mm or 240mm depending on infeed material sizes and capacity. The separator can be manufactured with open or close operating zone.

  • Compact and mobile

The use of permanent magnets in the separator ensures its low power consumption. SMVI-L is distinct in compactness, easy maneuverability and convenient use in laboratory conditions.

  • Wide range of separation settings

SMVI-L magnetic roll speed can be adjusted, the presence of infeed hopper with a slide gate and a vibrating feeder in its design allows for adjustment of the process capacity and ensures monolayer material feed, fine setting of splitter provides accurate separation of fractions by magnetic properties.

  • Easy to operate and maintain

Simple and robust design with little maintenance ensures easy operation of SMVI-L laboratory separator.

The scope of supply of magnetic separators includes support frames (stationary or mobile configurations), infeed hoppers, vibrating chutes, variable speed drives, containers for products of separation and optionally spare parts kit.
