Research and Production Company “ERGA” produces SMVI-1 and SMVI-2 series roll-type magnetic separators for one- and two-stage separation and equipped with one or two magnetic rolls accordingly. From the separator’s infeed hopper the material is transported to the vibrating feeder, then it is uniformly fed to a belt conveyor with a magnetic drive shaft. Magnetic field created by the shaft attracts magneto-susceptible contaminants and holds them on the surface Kevlar belt, which conveys them into the discharge area. The splitter under the magnetic shaft is used for separating non-magnetic and weakly magnetic components.
SMVI high-induction roll systems are usually used when there is a possibility of installing new equipment in an existing process line with structural modifications of the product transportation scheme.
