ERGA at RAREMET-2026: solutions for the beneficiation of rare and rare-earth metals
ERGA took part in the International Congress on Rare Metals, Materials and Related Technologies
RAREMET-2026, one of the key industry forums dedicated to rare and rare-earth metals. The event brought together leading experts, scientists, and industry representatives from Russia and abroad.
The congress was organized by JSC Giredmet, the leading research institute of the State Corporation Rosatom in the field of rare and rare-earth metals. Co-organizers included the largest scientific and industrial organizations in the sector. Holding RAREMET-2026 emphasized the strategic importance of developing technologies for the processing and beneficiation of rare-metal raw materials for Russian industry and science and for ensuring the country’s technological sovereignty.
The business program of the congress featured plenary and panel sessions, round tables, and thematic conferences focused on the processing of rare-metal raw materials, metallurgy, high-purity chemicals, as well as materials for electronics, energy, and high-tech industries. Participants paid special attention to digitalization, use of artificial intelligence, and development of modern technologies for processing rare and rare-earth metals.
As part of the session “Mineral Resources of Rare Metals and Sustainable Processing Technologies,” the Head of ERGA Test Center presented a report on the company’s solutions for the beneficiation of rare and rare-earth metals. Both proven equipment successfully used at customers’ facilities and the company’s new developments were presented.
Particular emphasis was placed on solving complex beneficiation challenges using ERGA’s equipment:
- Lux Sortika multisensor sorters based on XRT technology.
- High‑induction ERGA magnetic separators for wet and dry beneficiation;
- Elkron electrostatic separators;
- testing of customer samples;
- development of process flow diagrams;
- pilot‑scale testing.
The results of studies on the beneficiation of titanium–zircon sands and lithium ores were also presented, as well as examples of completed projects on dry beneficiation and production of loparite and wolframite concentrates.
During the congress ERGA specialists held negotiations with the representatives of Russian and international companies, presenting a comprehensive approach to solving beneficiation tasks:
This approach helps to create equipment that is maximally customized to the characteristics of raw materials and production needs of the enterprise.
ERGA thanks the organizers of RAREMET-2026 for the high level of the event, also partners and participants for productive meetings and professional dialogue. We are open to further cooperation and ready to continue discussions on the implementation of effective solutions in the field of mineral processing.
